Designed in collaboration with Brandon Semenuk, the Overture is used by more pros than any other slopestyle saddle.

Tailored to the needs of the slopestyle and dirt-jump rider, the Overture is designed to compliment trick variations by being grip-able, pinch-able yet slim and easy to move around.  Brandon's design features a silicone print pinch area with subtle flares in the rearward body to compliment leg-pinch and no-hand tricks.

A lot of people also run the Overture on their DH rig, and it has been known to find its way onto the occasional trail bike.

Designed in collaboration with Brandon Semenuk the Overture was ahead of its time in being taylored for the needs of dirt jump and slopestyle riders

key features

Not all saddles are created equal.

LTD Editions

Keep an eye out for limited edition versions of our saddles. From time to time we do special small runs, with fancy graphics and different finishes and materials.

Durable Top

Our DT (Durable Top) is a synthetic covering for riders who see a lot of wet weather or for DH and Freeride applications where extra durability is needed.

Cro-Mo Rails

We use cr-mo (Chromoly Steel) rails on all of our saddles for tried and tested strength and durability.

Saddle FAQ's

For "trail" riding, a good rule of thumb is level with the ground on a flat surface. In other words, horizontal.

Tipping the nose down can aid in comfort on steep climbs, however DJ and DH riders tend to lift the nose above the horizontal, for extra leg control.

Yes! We have a demo fleet of saddles available at Chromag HQ in Whistler.

In short, yes.

Leather saddles can be treated with surface conditioners.  Check with your local hardware store, shoe maker or leather specialist for available products.  Note that different conditioners can have different effects on the leather (IE. softening or discoloration).  The user takes all responsibility for the results of any treatments applied to the saddle.

It’s important to know that the cover of a saddle is made of soft material and by that nature, it will start changing from the day you start using it.

Leather saddles are likely to go through more change than DT saddles.

You can read the full user guide here, but to avoid any kind of creaking, make sure the rails and the seatpost clamp are spotlessly clean!

If something is creaking, remove the saddle from the post and make sure the rails and clamps are clean. You'd be amazing what a bit of dirt can do.

As for the finish, any DT saddles don't really need any aftercare. However it's not a bad idea to treat any leather saddle with some high quality leather treatment from time to time (like you might use for leather gloves for example).

Unrivalled !

For full disclosure I have been supported by Chromag for over a decade.

The overture has always been my go to on the DJ / free ride bikes - I have lots of experience using this saddle.

The saddle is wide enough / grippy enough in the middle to offer unbeatable “feel” when pinching it with your knees for Suicide no handers or bar-spins. Furthermore the general ergonomics of the saddle compliment tricks such as toboggans or superman seat grabs, meaning that you can focus on the trick without worrying about your grip hand.

Personally I don’t believe there to be any worthy rivals to the design / quality of the overture.

Best Saddle Ever?

I started using this originally on my DJ bike but now it’s the go to for everything? Park bike, trail bike, DH bike whatever you have. It’s short and super pinchable and a bit softer then others.

Give one a try you won’t be disappointed!

Such an awesome seat!

I’ve been running this seat for 3 years and it’s the best seat I’ve ever ridden. It’s the perfect shape for free riding, pinchable yet small enough to stay out of the way. It even pedals pretty well!

The overture shreds!

Great DJ/DH saddle

I run the overture on my monk dj bike and it is great. It never gets in the way and is comfy to sit on between laps to boot. I have tried it on a dh bike and it's perfect for that too, never gets in the way but gives good support when laying the bike over. It seems pretty sturdy too as it as mine has taken a few crashes but still looks great.

Great not perfect

I got my confirmation email saying to pick up in Whistler BC from the weekend to a certain date so I went on the weekend and it was closed. Big waste of a 2 hour drive

Comfortable

I actually run this seat on my Chainsaw, it's surpringly comfort seat for being a DJ seat, definitely works for freeride/Enduro.
